Princess Me. . .
If I had to compare myself to a Disney Character I would have to say I resemble Princess Belle the most. First, let’s state the obvious. I don’t like mice so I wouldn’t be hanging with them in the attic (Cinderella). I don’t eat apples from strangers or have 7 little men around me (Snow White), and I definitely do not have sea shells glued to my ta ta’s! So that must mean I have to be somewhat like Belle. I’ve go the brunette hair, I’m pretty good at complaining, and I think we’ve got matching dresses! I can say I have not found my “Beast” yet but one day I hope it’s just as a love story as hers! (:

September 11th Poem
9-11 attacks is now a fact
then you saw people die.
I was only in second grade,
but it’s a memory that’ll never fade.
The morning of fate
now has a specific date.
One that will never be forgotten,
as we think terrorists are rotten!
We must go to war.
It’s now a chore.
Our soldiers are protecting us in Afghanistan ,
and running the AlQuida out of Pakistan
We will never be the same.
The USA must always be on top of its game.

Desdemona's Cookie
He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not. . . Rewind, No! It’s not one of those fairytale, flower picking love stories. This is true love, like Oreo and its filling which seems totally okay, but not in this time! I love Othello for who he is and his tragic story of his past made me fall in love. Then there’s this vanilla cookie (Roderigo) who wants me to be his white filling, yes only his. Not only do I deny because Oreos are so much better, but my giant glass of milk (father Barbantio) disagrees that Roderigo is the cookie for me! Come to find out my father is out on a hunt to drown the other half of me, Othello! I am crushed that the love of chocolate and white filling can’t be perfectly “dipped” for the glass of milk!

A Magical Moment In Art
Summer of 2005 I was the most excited little girl in Big Timber. I arrived at my Dad’s shop, where he and my mother broke the news to me that I would get to experience my first airplane ride to California to go to the “Happiest place in the world, Disney Land !” When we arrived and my jaw dropped to the ground. This little girl, which was me, was totally overwhelmed not only by the Disney characters but by the beautiful Princesses. That wasn’t all! My parents took me to a play. Yes my first real Disney play. I could hardly hold still I was so excited, pink flower petals were floating down from the ceiling. I was in the land of Snow White . I started grabbing the petals from the air and off of the ground as fast as I could. They made great souvenirs, which I can say I still have! We enjoyed the play so much we ended up going to the evening showing of Aladdin. This play continued with my art experience of seeing the real “magic carpet” soaring above the audience!
